Blending the responsiveness of our Reactor road race frame with the versatile handling and confidence of the Great Divide, the Aurora is our range-topping model for all occasions.

A top priority when developing the Aurora was to balance high stiffness and crisp handling with all-day comfort levels that only titanium can deliver. Despite an overall stiffness level approaching our race-specific Reactor model, the Aurora is the smoothest riding frame we offer. A combination of carefully shaped and butted tubing, svelte seat stays and the one-piece carbon seat mast result in a frame that smooths vibration like nothing else on the road.


For those that have yet to experience them, disc brakes on the road are a revelation. Braking is smooth, controllable and powerful, and is unaffected by rain and snow. The Aurora's disc brakes allow you to brake deeper into a corner and carry more speed out of it.

Like all No. 22 frames, the true beauty of the Aurora lies in its details. The frame’s head tube is a custom tapered titanium component with extensive internal machining. Featuring CNC-machined support for an integrated headset, the head tube enables substantial front end stiffness while saving weight. Forgoing our traditional solid titanium head tube badge, the Aurora head tube features a CNC machined logo to save every available gram.

Topping the Aurora’s carbon seat mast is our bespoke cast titanium seat mast topper. Weighing just 120g including hardware, the titanium topper is a light and elegant solution to retaining height adjustability on a seat mast equipped frame. For customers concerned about flexibility and resale with a seat mast equipped bike, the Aurora’s seat mast offers the possibility to permanently convert to a traditional seat post.

The extensively machined titanium dropouts used on the Aurora offer a large weld surface for stiffness and durability, while paring away unnecessary material. The Aurora uses Syntace's excellent X-12 dropout interface which combines the safety of a replaceable rear hanger with the stiffness and shifting precision of a fixed hanger.

The Aurora's flat mount disc brakes allow for clean brake caliper mounting without the use of adapters. Complimenting these low-profile mounts is internal rear brake hose routing, with the brake hose exiting the chainstay just ahead of the brake caliper.


In addition to our standard "raw" finish, the Aurora is available in one of six anodized colours as a $300 option.
